It was a long exhausting lesson. There was a lot of talking, that in my opinion could have been reduced by at least 80%. Most of what we have been told and did, we already did it in the first week of the semester.
The start with the ESP8266 was really nice and gave me new energy for the afternoon.

I did not know what was expected in this course, but it turned out to be very relevant and interesting topics. I was not so familiar with IoT but got a good understanding of the subject, it was a bit tough at the beginning of the lesson with theory review but became more and more interesting over time. The devices we got to experiment with were very interesting to me, as since I was young I have liked to assemble and experiment with things. The teacher is very active and passionate, which motivates me to learn more from this course. During the course, I had problems with installations due to the fact that I use a mac but got it solved in the end. I look forward to the upcoming lessons.

I did already notice some chaos in the ongoing Teacher's Chat on Whatsapp the day before our first lesson, so I was kinda prepared for some difficulties in the beginning. I also kinda imagined, that it might take a while till we all are fully prepared to dig into the topic, however I didn't know it would include the whole morning class.
It was really nice to do some 'active' work in the afternoon lesson. It brought back some energy to me. However, I did not always understand what the people were talking in the videos.
