IndustrialCraft 2 Classic (IC2C) allows you to defend your base in numerous ways; one of these is with the Telsa Coil!

The Tesla Coil can be easily described as a "shocking system". When given EU (energy), it will damage entities within a 9x9x9 area. Sending the Tesla Coil a Redstone Signal will disable the Tesla Coil.

The Damage the Tesla Coil deals is based on the Energy stored, much like the Teleporter's equation; the Tesla Coil's equation is (energyStored/400 = Damage Dealt). When the Tesla Coil is in operation, it will drain all energy it has stored. The Telsa Coil has a max capacity of 50,000 EU, and has a max damage dealing of 125 Damage. The Tesla Coil is a Medium-Voltage machine, and can accept up to 128 EU/t. When receiving 129+ EU, the Tesla Coil will explode.

The Tesla Coil will only damage entities if it has enough for one damage, and will wait 32 ticks (1.6 Seconds) between operations.
