The Iron Fence, offered by IndustrialCraft 2 Classic (IC2C), is a metal version of the Vanilla Fence. Although it has similar properties to the Vanilla Fence, is much more useful.

When the Iron Fence is placed atop a powered Magnetizer, a sort of "elevator" is created when you run into the Iron Fences with "metal" armor. Multiple types of "metal armor" are present in the Vanilla Game and IC2C, but also in other mods.
The Iron Fence is not only used for creating elevators; it can be used as a normal, industrial-looking fence. It can also be used to create Iron Scaffolding, and is required in the Recipe of the Magnetizer.
