Tools you may need

This is the tool list for the DIY build.

Named in the build guide

  • 3D printer and PLA, for the panel parts on Parts to 3D print
  • Flush cutters
  • Wire strippers, small screwdriver, and multimeter
  • Soldering iron and solder only if headers or wire leads are not already fitted
  • Computer with a data-capable micro-USB cable
  • Serial Monitor in Arduino IDE 2.x, for the first pressure reading

Also named for those steps

  • A slicer, for base_panel.STEP, pump_holder.STEP, and valve_bracket.STEP. It opens STEP files directly. There are no STL or slicer project files for those parts yet.
  • A slicer or mesh viewer, for the sensing-tube STL files.
  • Arduino IDE 2.x, for Install on the Firmware page. Assembly Step 04 sends the DIY build there.
  • git, for the manual library install (git clone of ThingPlusBLEOSC) in that section.
