Overview

ender_dude was a player most known for being the King of Sicily. He was practically bankrupt, with less than a hundred gold ingots to his name. Throughout the history of MCAtlas, he was quite irrelevant and unimportant, however he managed to fail his way into some importance in MCAtlas history.

History

Yugoslav Beginnings

ender_dude joined MCAtlas on November 12th, 2019. He quickly joined the town of Moldavia within Yugoslavia and mostly did nothing. He had considered joining other servers during the first week, but decided against it. He also witnessed the brief revival and subsequent collapse of Europa throughout November of 2019. Eventually, ender_dude would disappear on November 27th, 2019.

The American Experiment

ender_dude would return on February 3rd, 2020, this time joining the German Empire in Memel for a brief amount of time. Eventually, Memel would rename to Lithuania and declare independence from the German Empire. During this time, ender_dude was made Prince of Memel by Pumfee while Pumfee was Duke of East Prussia. Eventually, this project was abandoned on February 14th, and both Pumfee and ender made their way to Lombardy to make a temporary settlement while they figured out where to go next. Eventually, after they briefly split up, and with Pumfee now in D.C, ender joined him on February 28th. D.C during this time was part of the American Union State, an authoritarian nation that had aspirations of American unity. Eventually, ender_dude again disappeared in the summer of 2020.

Becoming a Subject of France

On September 7th, 2020, ender_dude returned and founded the town of Paris, which would end up being the most significant thing he ever did on the server. He had no intentions of remaining in France, as he wanted to start his own town either in Sicily, Ulm, East Prussia, or Crimea. Therefore, he gave the town to Pumfee the next day, who then founded the French Empire, and only stayed to build up gold. However, Pumfee wouldn't let him, and this created a sense of resentment against Pumfee. For the next 2 months, ender_dude secretly drew up plans to leave Paris and build up enough gold to start his own town in Crimea, which was abandoned at the time. Before he was able to realize his plans, Pumfee offered him the title of King of Italy along with other things if ender were to take Rome for France if it were to fall. Ender quickly discarded his plans and eagerly prepared to sail out to Rome and take it. However, he grew impatient, and with a new offer of settling Sicily instead, he took it, founding the town on November 9th as a precursor to an eventual settlement of Rome. Eventually, the city fell on November 17th, but ender didn't have enough gold and so sailed back to Sicily. A day later, Rome was refounded by UnsnaggedStar6, and so ender had to return to the drawing board. It was here where he abandoned any hope of claiming Rome, and instead focused on the fact that he now controlled Sicily, an area that he had long desired to take. His Roman ambitions didn't fade, however, and when Rome looked like it was going to fall in early January 2021, he again made preparations to take the city. In the wake of his inability to take the city, ender_dude finally realized that the source of his disappointment came from someone much closer to him. During this time, France was also preparing to abolish its monarchy and go communist, something ender feared would lead to widespread oppression. He would decidedly break off relations with Pumfee and create the nation of Italy on January 22nd, beginning an era of experimentation within Sicily.

Ruling Sicily

ender_dude would partner with Freddy1284 to rule Italy and focused himself more on Sicily from that point onward. He would attempt to develop both his town and his wealth with no real success. Downtrodden and demotivated, he would hand Freddy the reins and focus on his own personal plans of expanding Sicily and obtaining some desired items. Throughout this time, ender would go on unsuccessful mining trips at various locations across the world, only finding coal and iron. Eventually, he gave up in mid-February 2021, and simply returned to govern Sicily. After a minor incident of theft, during which he lost almost the entirety of his 9 stacks of iron and his diamond armor, ender would try one last time to mine for gold, however he only managed to find some iron and diamonds. Dissatisfied, he returned and simply spent the remainder of his time digging up sand in the Sahara for his great expansion project. Eventually, on April 10th, 2021, ender abdicated the throne of Sicily to KonradsCrow and left the server. A month later, on May 20th, Sicily finally fell, bringing an end to ender's remaining influence on the server.
