• Using the API and Power Query
• Using Heroku Dataclip and Power Query

Using the API and Power Query

This is the preferred way of analyzing the data.

Prerequisites

You must have a current version of Excel supporting Power Query.

Using Heroku Powerclip and Power Query

Use this method, if you are unable to access the APi directly. This could be the case, if you do not have access to an API token or behind a firewall blocking API access. Moreover, these instructions may be adopted for other spreadsheet software than Excel.

Prerequisites

This guide assumes that your Tabbycat instance runs in Heroku. You need a current version of Microsoft Excel supporting Power Query.
