The Large Grassy Platforms are objects in Sonic the Hedgehog, appearing in the higher areas of Marble Zone. There are a few variations of this object, but they all share a few qualities: They are solid, composed mostly of purple brick, and covered in grass. Most variations move up and down as they sit in lava, with one arc-shaped variant sitting still in the lava. Stepping on this type of platform will cause it to sink into the lava, which sets off a chain reaction that results in fire spreading across the entire grassy top.
