Obtaining

• This weapon is obtainable by combining a Stick and Target together with a Smithing table

Mechanic

• Replaces most blocks with the block in your off-hand by right-clicking on it.
• The following are the blocks that will NOT be replaced by this item (if in survival mode):
  1. End portal frames (and the portal blocks)
  2. Nether portal blocks
  3. Pistons
  4. Mob Spawners
  5. Fire + Soul Fire
  6. 2-block tall plants (to prevent plant duping)
  7. Slabs
  8. Snow
  9. Potted plants
  10. Shulker boxes
  11. Turtle Eggs
  12. Candles
  13. Anvils
  14. Cake (to prevent infinite hunger bar regaining from one cake)
  15. Safes
  16. Reforgers
  17. Trash
  18. Market Blocks
  19. Time Bombs
  20. Chests
  21. Ender Chests
  22. Trapped Chests

Change History

• 1.3.0: Introduced item.
• 1.4.0: Using this item will give you the block that was replaced.
• 1.4.0: Added a crafting recipe.
• 1.4.1: The item can only be used if the item in the last slot of your hotbar is a valid block.
• 1.4.1: Decreased durability from inf -> 384.
• 1.4.2: The item can no longer be used on Beds or Doors.
• 1.7.0: The item cannot be used if the block to replace and the block in the last slot of your hotbar are the same block.
• 2.6.2: The item can no longer replace bedrock.
• 3.1.8: I decided to revert the change in 2.6.2 and 1.4.1 because... god knows why
• 3.5.1: Reverted the reversion in 3.1.8.
• 3.8.4: Added several other blocks that the item cannot replace.
• 3.10.2: Block to replace is now based on your off-hand instead of the last slot of your hotbar.
• 3.10.3: The item can no longer break blocks
• 3.10.3: Replacing blocks with this item now works by left-clicking on it instead of right-clicking.
• 4.2.0: Added safes, trash, market blocks, time bombs, and reforgers to the list of blocks that cannot be replaced by this item.
• 4.6.0: This item once again works by right-clicking instead of left-clicking due to a crash that would sometimes occur when using this item in creative mode.
• 4.6.1: Renamed item to "Block Swapper".
• 4.6.0: This item can no longer replace any chests.
• 6.0.0: Block restrictions will be ignored when in creative mode. Additionally, you'll only get 1 of each replaced block if the Block Swapper is used in creative mode.
