Gratian - Galileo88/Galileos-Planet-Pack GitHub Wiki
Between the three desert worlds: Niven, itself and the moon Augustus, Gratian is the most massive of them, but not the hottest of them. With nearly Gael's radius and gravity and with a 50km high atmosphere Gratian actually presents itself as a "Dry Laythe." Its atmosphere is among those that are richest with Karbonite and Argon, allowing aerodynamic vessels to aerobrake and refuel, and probes to be fueled in-situ.
Gratian is home to very large sandstorms, visible in map view and the Tracking Station (requires GPP_Clouds and EVE installed). These storms provide an excellent aviation experience, screenshot opportunities, and the fun and challenge of landing and operating while landed in one. Don't tell Mark Watney about this. He's had enough for one lifetime. Do tell all your kerbal friends, though. Gratian carries a spice theme and may indeed have Cinnamon, Paprika etc instead of actual normal red sand.
Flags
This planet and its moon aren't far from being a binary system. Meanwhile it is a border-world and is the last of the large rocky inner planets. Its region and its flag is the Grat and Gem or G & G.
