Free flow Travel Speed and Capacity Look up Tables

MTC uses area type and facility type specific free flow travel speed and roadway capacity assumptions. A CapClass attribute is calculated for each link using the formula: CapClass = 10 * AT + FT (where AT and FT correspond to area type and facility type respectively). Capacity and free-flow speed is defined for each CapClass. The assumed quantities are shown in the table below.
