Principle

Granulation consists in the very fine shredding of the rubber in end-of-life tyres, ans results in the separation of the different components of the tyre:

• Rubber powder & granulates
• Textile fibres
• Metallic wires

Available technologies

Different technologies are currently used, and they operate either at ambient temperature or at low temperature (cryogenic process).
