R211 / Generalization

Internal Reconfiguration is a Fork Lane, Convergence or Split

These seem to be the only physical mechanisms available for transferring traffic between Driving Lanes in the same Road Segment. Two dimensional geometry appears to constrain us to these four possibilities.
