Description

Hide vessel allows Hide bag to be used to carry water.

Usage

Right click a block of fresh water while sneaking and holding a Hide bag to fill it with fresh water, becoming a Hide vessel.

Right click a container to empty the Hide vessel into the container. Right click the ground to dump the contents of the Hide vessel.

While hide bag containing items looses durability every day, Hide Vessel filled with water looses durability every 4 hours. Emptied hide vessel looses durability every 12 hours. Hide vessel should always be dried out on a Drying Rack after use to avoid unnecessary damage.

Completely dried Hide Vessel becomes a Hide Bag and can be used to contain items again.

Destroyed hide vessel turns into Ruined Hide Scraps and can be used to make Glue.

Cooking

Hide Vessel can be used to construct a Cooking Pit that allows simple cooking recipes.

Compatibility

By default, when a TFC+ Hide Bag is destroyed, it simply vanishes without a trace.

If you want to see Hide Bag turn into Ruined Hide Scraps, set the value of crafting.replaceHideBag to true in the configuration. This allows broken Hide Bags to be recycled into glue, just like a broken Hide Vessel.
