Description

Hand Axe refers to a sharp, simple, non-composite tool made from stone, i.e. lacking a handle and other components.

Recipe

Hand axe can be knapped from loose rocks.

Usage

Hand Axe cannot be used to replace composite stone tools such as knives and axes in crafting recipes, with the following exceptions.

• Wooden spear

Hand axe can perform the following tasks.

• Harvest grass
• Harvest bushes
• Scrape material, such as furs and soaked hides, on a Processing Surface

Notes

• Hand Axe is more durable compared stone knives, but slower and weaker
• Hand Axe has work effort penalty when used as a scraping tool on a Processing Surface for being unhandy
