Description

Bow shaft is intermediate material for crafting bows.

Bow Shafts

Bow shafts are made from a wooden Shaft through Woodworking.

• Short Bow Shaft - one step carving of a wooden shaft of any wood type
• Long Bow Shaft - two step carving of a wooden shaft of suitable wood type (Ash, Hickory, Maple, Oak and Yew)
• Bent Bow Shaft - steaming and bending of a Long Bow Shaft

Finished bow shafts are used to craft bows.

Bow (TFC)	Short Bow Shaft
Composite Bow (TFC+)	Short Bow Shaft	Needs to be combined with horn strips
Long Bow	Long Bow Shaft
Recurve Bow	Bent Bow Shaft

Notes

• Long Bow is a slower than Composite Bow doing similar damage and cannot be used while sneaking and riding.
• Recurve Bow is faster than Composite Bow doing slightly less damage.
