Short version for users: Your trips, places and movement data are stored locally on your device. JourneyPulse has no user account and does not pass tracking, location, health or motion data to third parties.

The binding statement is the privacy policy (in German). You can also reach it in the app under Settings → App → Guide & Info → About JourneyPulse → Privacy. This page only summarises it.

What is stored where?

The voice feature only processes what you say during voice start. Contacts are only used for name destinations, calendar events only for appointment reminders and only on the device, health data only read-only and only if you allow it.

External services

For some features the app queries external services. The map areas or surrounding coordinates needed for the request are transmitted:

Each of these sources can be switched off under Settings → Warnings or by not using keys and downloads. With installed offline map data the app calculates routes, speed limit and lane guidance on the device.

What you control yourself

• Permissions can be revoked in iOS at any time. See Getting Started.
• Personal routing: "Delete learned data" removes the learned times; the recorded trips are kept.
• Export: trips, places and all data can be saved as a file (see Settings).
• MCP interface (Beta): only enable it if you need it. It is reachable on the local network and only answers requests with the access token stored in the keychain. Don't share the token; you can renew it under Settings.

Note on speed camera warnings

Please only use warnings about speed checks where it is legally permitted. You are responsible for this yourself.
