Members that have completed all the Onboarding steps are eligible to be trained by the lab and then certified by veterinarians to perform anesthesia, euthanasia and brain surgeries.

Only after certification is a lab member authorized to perform surgeries by themselves.

The full certification procedure is described on the OLAC pre-surgery certification checklist document available on their training webpage

When ready, request the needed certification from the veterinarians by filling in the form OLAC Certifications, Training, & Breeding Info available on OLAC training page.
