Version 1.7.27, released on 30th of April 2013
New features:
- Improved performance for synchronizing shared repositories: initial and sub-sequent synchronization from server is now much faster
- Search for requirements within a specified estimate range in Requirements-Tool-Widget and Search-List.
- Improvements in moving and copying requirement cards across workspaces (cut/copy/paste/move): support cut to clipboard (Ctrl-X), drag-drop to other open workspace tab
- SpecLog Server users can now be disabled and enabled with
SpecLog.UserManager update, so that users do not have to be deleted in order to block their access to the server. - Improved support for updating server URL in existing user token files
- Excel import: more flexible input format, bug fixes
Bugfixes:
This release contains many bugfixes related to client/server synchronization and TFS synchronization. We strongly recommend updating from previous releases as soon as possible.
- fixes regarding "System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: Attempt to write a read-only database" on the client and the server
- fixes regarding "Timeout waiting for UpdateBarrier" errors and warnings on the server
- minimum application window size is now 800x600, dialog window sizes adjusted accordingly
- fix regarding refreshing the search result in requirement tool widget, after changes to repository occured
- fix regarding refreshing the cards highlighted on the workspace according to requirement tool widget search, after changes to repository occured
Database schema changed:
This release requires the server database schema to be upgraded. Please refer to the upgrading the server section for further details.
Please note that you need to upgrade server and client: version 1.7 clients are NOT able to connect to version 1.6 servers and vice-versa.
