PDB files contain additional data about a program to make debugging easier.
These files are not used by the program and can be deleted.
These files are used to store the programs settings and preferences.
While it is possible to modify them by hand, it is recommended to use the user-interface for configuration instead.
While I take great efforts to make this program as secure as possible, VRChat -like any popular online game- has a lot of trolls and bad actors.
To minimize the impact of a potential exploit (like the infamous Log4Shell vulnerability in Java applications), it is recommended to avoid running the program as administrator.
Only applications running as administrator can receive data on ports below 1024.
This restriction is hard-coded and cannot be bypassed by running the program as administrator.
See Why is it discouraged to run the program as administrator? for more information.
By default, the My OWO App only supports one connection at a time.
However, may be possible to bypass this limit by using OWO Visualizer as middleware
Unfortunately, OWOVRC is only available as a Windows-Native executable.
However, OWOVRC has been tested to work on Wine 9.18 or later. (YMMV)
See Running on Linux for more details.
Yes! Simply include the oscPresets.json
from the application's directory which can be imported via the presets dialog.
For more information see: Importing existing sensation presets
Most vehicle implementations do not set the player's velocity values that the effect relies on.
World creators are welcome to update the values themselves or use OWO WorldIntegrator instead.
The warning "Failed to load X effect settings: file does not exist" appears on first startup as the settings files have not yet been created.
This warning can safely be ignored.
OWOVRC cannot send sensations to bHaptics devices.
Avatars set up to work with bHaptics colliders will work in a limited capacity.
For more information refer to: Setting up OWOSuit colliders
Can the avatar prefabs be used with other integrations (e.g. Shadoki)?
While not guaranteed, the prefab from the Avatar Colliders Setup is compatible with Shadoki's integration.
