IVDXPluginCallbacks:: SetError

Sets the current error to a formatted string.

void SetError(const char *format, ...);

Parameters

format	printf-style format to apply to subsequent arguments to produce the error string.

Thread safety

This method is not thread-safe.

Errors

Errors may not be returned from this function (see SetError()).

Remarks

This allows errors to be returned from certain methods that are able to return errors; not calling any of the set-error methods implies normal return value semantics. It cannot be called from some methods that are defined not to fail.
