IVDXInputFile interface

IVDXInputFile:: CreateOptions

Creates an options object based on previously serialized data from IVDXInputOptions::Write().

bool CreateOptions(const void *buf, uint32 len, IVDXInputOptions **ppOptions);

Parameters

buf	Pointer to buffer with serialized options data.
len	Length of serialized options data, in bytes.
ppOptions	Pointer to variable to receive options object.

Thread safety

This method is not thread-safe.

Errors

Errors may not be returned from this function (see SetError()).

Return value

True if successful, false if out of memory.

Remarks

The serialized data must be from the Write() method of an input options object for this input file type; it is assumed that input options data from different input drivers is not mixed. However, implementations should tag serialized data appopriately to at least allow for detection and handling of serialized data from older and newer versions of the same input driver.
