Meets and Results

Create a meet, add its races, and record results as the swimmer finishes each event.

Create a meet

  1. Select the correct swimmer.
  2. Open Meets.
  3. Choose Add meet.
  4. Enter the meet details, including the date.
  5. Save.

Add races to the meet

  1. Choose Add event on the meet.
  2. Select the course.
  3. Choose the event from the dropdown.
  4. Enter a target time if desired.
  5. Save.
  6. Repeat for each race.

Use the custom event option if your event is not listed.

Enter a race result

  1. Find the meet and race.
  2. Choose Enter result.
  3. Enter the time and other result details.
  4. Save.

Entering the result through the meet event links the saved swim to that race.

To correct a finished race, choose Change beside its result.

Enter times correctly

You can enter times in either format:

Format Example
Seconds 39.35
Minutes and seconds 1:28.54

Use a decimal point for hundredths of a second.

Check that the course is correct:

  • SCY: Short-course yards
  • SCM: Short-course meters
  • LCM: Long-course meters

What the swimmer sees

The meet and its events appear on the swimmer's page.

  • Pending events wait for a result.
  • Finished events can be tapped to show the result and animation.
  • Tapping a finished event scrolls toward the animation.
  • The swimmer can select a different saved meet using Meet.

Family members can also follow finished races and send cheers.

When the meet is finished

Record the result for each completed race and keep the meet as history.

This version does not have a separate Complete meet button.

Creating another meet does not delete previous meets.

Add a historical swim

For an older time, open Results and choose Add a result.

Enter its event, course, date, time, and other details, then save.

If the swim belongs to an event already scheduled in a meet, enter it through that meet event to keep them linked.

Edit or delete a recorded swim

  1. Open Results.
  2. Find the swim.
  3. Choose Edit.
  4. Update and save, or choose Delete.

Review the confirmation before deleting. Deleting a recorded swim permanently removes that result and its associated race messages.

Attached videos

Choose Race videos from a saved result to add or watch a clip. See Race Videos. Remove attached videos before deleting a result or choosing to delete a meet together with its times.

Remove a scheduled event

Choose Remove event beside the race and review the confirmation.

Removing a scheduled event is different from deleting a recorded swim. Check Results if you also need to remove its saved time.

Delete a meet

Choose Delete meet and review what should happen to its recorded swims.

Keep times

Remove the meet while keeping its saved swim times and the family messages attached to those swims.

Delete times

Remove the meet and its associated recorded swims and message threads.

This deletion is permanent.

A meet with no recorded swims may only show the keep-times deletion choice.

Race-card pictures already downloaded to a phone remain on that device.
