The Needs of the Many
If you're responsible for other people's growth and workload, this page gathers the material already on this wiki from that point of view. Spock's line cuts both ways once you're in that seat. Most days, the needs of the many โ the team's capacity, its bench strength, its ability to function when you're not in the room โ have to outweigh the needs of the few, or the one, including yourself. But neglect the individual too long in the name of the team, and the team quietly hollows out from the inside.

Hiring
The Job Hunt is written for the candidate. The same material is worth a second read from the other side of the table: what a resume bullet is actually signaling, what an interview script is actually probing for, and what LBIT gaps to listen for in an answer.
