Overview

Small family winery owned and operated by winemaker Denis Hoey. Focus on local grapes that are organic and grown sustainably. Works closely with local growers. Blending old world winemaking methods with new learning.

History

Denis Hoey graduated from UCSC with business degree, became assistant winemaker at Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard.

First vintage 2005. Originally called Dragonfly Cellars.

Machado Creek - Near Morgan Hill, southern Santa Clara Valley

Chiara Estate Vineyard - Santa Lucia Highlands (at winery)
