In a calculation schema surcharges are determined for pre-calculation and for post-calculation. The accounts for WIP-bookings can be defined here.
hmtoggle_plus1 Reference A calculation template defines the following Field Meaning Preliminary costing Display and valuation of surcharges, sums, and overheads Final costing Display and valuation of surcharges, sums, and overheads WIP posting Storage of which accounts should be debited with which values See Configuration wizard - account determination
hmtoggle_plus1 Editing Any number of calculation schemes can be created. Copy an existing one and rename it. Use the copy&paste feature for transferring calculation schemes to other data bases. See Data record selection copy&paste function
hmtoggle_plus1 Default calculation schema A default calculation schema is supplied with beas. This cannot be changed as it is updated automatically in every update. It is used as a basic template for all other calculation schemas. This schema is created in the language which was set up in Configuration wizard - Administation - Language. Via right click "reset default" the calculation schema can be read new new in the system language.
hmtoggle_plus1 Determination of calculation schema to be used
In Pre-calculation according to following priority: a) as stored in Administration - Configuration wizard - Calculation - Calculation schema b) as stored in Item master - Calculation Template c) if nothing like this exists, the "Std" template is used, which is always installed automatically
WIP and post-calculation The schema is determined according to the following priority a) as per Administration - Configuration wizard - Production - Valuation and posting - Valuation - Calculation schema b) as per Item master - Calculation schema b) as stored in Configuration wizard - Calculation - Calculation schema - Default schema d) if nothing like this exists, the "Std" template is used, which is always installed automatically
Special case Standard costs method: The calculation schema of last valuation is used
Areas A calculation template consists of the following areas Field Meaning Template The calculation template ID Overheads all surcharge and sum values. These can be changed as needed Default Default objects. Only its designation and color can be changed. Final costing Objects for costing analysis. Only its designation can be changed.
A name and description can be stored.
If the Option "Calculation surcharges for sub positions" has been activated, the tab " Display" appears.
Calculation View These options concern only the calculation view:
Column Meaning Calculation surcharges for sub positions If this option is activated, surcharges are calculated not only in the main assembly, but also for all sub-assemblies. The results of the sub-assembly can be seen:
- By double-clicking on the sub-assembly, tab scale price or tab result
- By defining the enlarged view in tab "Display" in the calculation template and changing the view in the calculation via tab "View" - button "Extended view" For large calculations the computation takes much longer. If no calculation is required per sub-assembly, this option should be disabled. See Extended view Pre-calculation - Concept of extended view Calculation template per assembly This option is only active if "Calculation surcharges for sub positions" was enabled. If this option is enabled, then the surcharges can be edited separately for each sub-assembly. This is done by double-clicking on the assembly, tab "Schema". This tab is only visible when the option described here has been activated and this scheme has been included in the calculation. Calculate automatically If enabled, results of the calculation are recomputed automatically if any change takes place. If the processing is slowed too much, the option can be disabled. In this case, the calculation must be rerun by manually clicking on "Edit - Calculate". The automatic calculation can be switched on and off in the calculation under "Functions" - calculate automatically" The option defined there, serves as a template, if the calculation is re-opened and the schema updated. Block changes If enabled, to the calculation in the calculation schema no new object can be included and an existing one cannot be deleted. This is important when working with the extended display. Hide calculation schema Hides calculation schema in the calculation No scale prices If enabled, only a sales prices can be entered, which applies for all lot sizes. In this case, all other sales price fields are locked. If the sales price is changed for scale 1, this applies for all other scales. Always determine current material prices hmtoggle_plus1 If active, at the moment of calculation, material prices are determined new If active, the material price can not be changed in Pre-calculation, as it is always determined automatically. This is very computationally intensive. That why it is disabled by default.
If disabled, the price entered in material position is used. The price is determined at the moment of the calculation.
This option is considered also for pricing of external operations. (beas9.0-004-053)
Note: this option is not taken into account at batch-pre-calculation. beas9.0-000-003-010
