It has become apparent during this TG that terminology related to cache sectors and so on is inconsistent.

TBD: David Kruckemyer is preparing a cache model that standardizes the terminology, and in particular he has observed that there are at least two different interpretations of "sectors", and at least three different implementations of sectary with different performance characteristics.

TBD: use David's terminology when available. And/or link to some common terminology.

I am particularly fond of Jim Goodman's cache terminology: transfer blocks, coherence blocks, address blocks, ...

I am using Intel terminology, or at least the terminology that was common at Intel until high Intel hired a lot of people from failing companies like DEC that had their own terminology.
