I originally had a couple of hex LED modules that showed the post code on the device card, but once the machine was in the case you couldn't see them, so I removed them. The 12-pin socket on the control card shows the address of the current microcode instruction along with the INIT_INST signal. See the KiCad schematics sheet for details.
