Honey Garlic Chicken is a starter that can be consumed for a medium amount of nutrition and saturation. It was added in Version 1.0-alpha.
This item used to have quotation marks around the word "garlic" because, when the item was first added, there wasn't any kind of actual seasoning ingredient in the game or datapack. Thus, the item was crafted with Gunpowder (in place of seasoning) and Sugar (to counteract the likely foul taste of Gunpowder on the chicken), creating the name Honey "Garlic" Chicken.
The name was finally changed after Assorted Seasoning was added to the datapack.
