Welcome to the Reg's More Foods Wiki!
Welcome to the Reg's More Foods Wiki page! I hope it wasn't too hard to find.
This data pack uses the new Components added to Minecraft 1.20.5 to add new foods to the game! Currently, there are over 130 new food options, as well as a couple Advancements to look for. New recipes can be discovered as you find new ingredients, so keep an eye on your Recipe Book!
This wiki will contain all the foods in the most recent update of the pack, as well as useful information like their Nutrition and Saturation values, as well as where you can find them or how you can craft them.
If there is any particular food or item you're looking for, you should be able to find it by using the Quick Menu. If it's not there, you can directly find a page by using the dropdown menu and typing in what you want. If you're new to Reg's More Foods or this Wiki, you should get started on This Page to understand how the foods work. From there, you can look up whatever you want!
I'm the only person working on this project, so between working a full time job and having a life outside the internet, the wiki will be slow to update. Some pages may not be finished by the time you are reading this--if a page isn't available and you want to read it, send me a message:
Install Instructions
You can go to this page, which will take you directly to the downloads. Downloading a version is as easy as a clicking a single button!
You can also find Reg's More Foods on Planet Minecraft as well, however it will only have the most recent version (unlike Modrinth which has every version).
If you host a vanilla server, you can either have everybody install the Resource Pack manually before they join (easier for you), or you can set up the Server Resource Pack in your server file to have it automatically prompt players to install and use it (easier for everyone but you). However, that involves uploading the resource pack to a website that lets you link it to that file, and doing so every time there's an update.
If you host a server that uses a modpack, just use Modrinth. Include the Reg's More Foods mod in there and remember to update it whenever one is available. If you can't use Modrinth for whatever reason, you can still download the mod from there or CurseForge and manually include it in your modpack.
[!NOTE] If this is your first time installing a data pack, you can use this page on the Minecraft Wiki for help. For installing a resource pack, you can use this page on the wiki instead.
Update Instructions
If this pack is updated and you have an older version, you can simply overwrite it with the newer version. Any items crafted or gained from the previous version will be retained, but their recipes or text may be changed when crafting them again.
A system has been implemented in newer versions to automatically update foods and items for you if need be.
Please keep in mind that if any items are changed or otherwise removed, you may see a broken texture in-game or the food values of items you used to own may be different. This can easily be fixed by crafting that item again or simply throwing it away. It's up to you.
How to Navigate the Wiki
To find a particular item or page, simply use the "Find a Page..." field on the right and type in what you're looking for. If the nothing comes up, the page doesn't exist. If that's the case, it's likely because i'm still working on adding said page. Send me a message to my twitter page or my DMs and let me know so I can hurry up. My discord server also works for letting me know.
