Wanderwords and Kulturwords often exhibit extended matches with permuted consonants.
While permutations themselves can simply be genetic mutations of words, something deeper seems to go on.
One reason for perfectly reversed orthography might be that during the foundation period of writing the reading order of phrases and compound signs was not set in stone. Between cultures there might have been confusion between left to right and right to left readings.
