There's a detailed description for other OS than Linux here.

1. Install openconnect 

sudo apt install openconnect

2. Connect to ulaval vpn

sudo openconnect vpn2.ulaval.ca -u <IDUL>@ulaval.ca

3. Confirm the connection on your Microsoft Authentificator phone application

Make sure you have enabled notification authentication. Go to Microsoft Sign-In and make sure you have Microsoft Authentificator - notification turned on and not Microsoft Authentificator - hardware token.

4. Keep the terminal open and refresh the vpn connection from time to time.
