Immich

Photos and videos are located on the Yeti NAS using an app called Immich. To view the library, open http://nas-yeti.norlab.ulaval.ca:2283/ (you need to be connected to the university network). We share one user account. The login credentials can be found in 1Password.

• Both image and video previews are downsized. They will be downloaded in the original quality or resolution.
• Old media are not organized in albums, and the date and location might be set incorrectly.

How to upload pictures

To upload pictures to the photo library, you have two options. Either you use the web interface (more straightforward) or a mobile app (more convenient)

Web interface

Open http://nas-yeti.norlab.ulaval.ca:2283 in your browser. Log in and in the left menu, navigate to albums. Select the album that you wanna add pictures to (or create a new one). Then, click the left-most button in the top menu (Add photos). The photos will be uploaded inside the selected album.

⚠️The album naming convention is: YYYYMMDD-Name of the event⚠️

Mobile app

1. Download the Immich mobile app:
   • Google Play
   • Apple App Store
2. Use http://nas-yeti.norlab.ulaval.ca:2283 as the server URL
3. Login using the credentials from 1Password
4. Open library -> On this device
5. Select photos you want to upload
6. Hit upload
7. Open Photos
8. Move pictures to the desired albums
