2.11.Accessing the OpenNeuro dataset - neurohub/neurohub_documentation GitHub Wiki

In partnership with OpenNeuro, the 1,000+ BIDS-formatted OpenNeuro datasets are now accessible for analysis and processing within CBRAIN. Each dataset on the OpenNeuro website now includes an option to be viewed on CBRAIN, and the CBRAIN web portal features a user-friendly self-service action, allowing researchers to directly add OpenNeuro datasets to CBRAIN. This new connection between OpenNeuro and CBRAIN enables researchers to efficiently access and analyze data. For more information, please contact the CBRAIN team.

Analyse OpenNeuro dataset with CBRAIN

  • Go to the OpenNeuro page. Please note, that you do not need to sign in to the OpenNeuro page but SIGN IN to your CBRAIN account will be required to install the dataset of your interest.

  • Select your modality.

  • Once you select the modality of your interest, for example, EEG, a new page will open where you can filter the dataset search:

  • Select the chosen dataset from the result list and click on Analyze.

  • From the drop-down, select View on CBRAIN and you will be redirected to the portal.

  • Click on Install The dataset Now! to start the dataset integration.

  • Depending on the size of the dataset, the integration might take several minutes or more, please refer to the File registration progress under the Installed status.

  • Once installed, the dataset's files are registered in the public project.
