Format handling with OmegaT and Rainbow - mtuoc/tutorials GitHub Wiki
In this video we will study the treatment of different formats with OmegaT and Rainbow. On the one hand, we will see the types of files that can be dealt with these tools. We will also learn how to create filters for XML documents with Rainbow.
It is very important to have notions about file filters when working with assisted translation tools because on many occasions, especially with direct clients who send us the unprocessed files, the standard filters of our tool do not extract all the translated text or extract text that should not be translated (such as comments in XML files).
Editing and creating specific file filters will make it very easy for us to get translated files in their original format with all the necessary information.
