Note: the main course page isHere we are going to host lecture content for CS 7545. You can sign up to scribe a lecture at Lecture Scribing Schedule. After students have taken in-class notes, they should write them up and post them at the appropriate lecture page below.
Lecture notes should be written in a combination of Markdown, for English writing and explanations, and LaTeX, for mathematical expressions. Markdown is a much simpler formatting language, and should make writing notes much easier. Here is a good tutorial which gives an overview of how to combine Markdown+LaTeX. We have also created a Template for lecture scribe notes which you should use. Finally, there are some minor issues when combining Markdown and LaTeX, and we recommend you look at the Markdown_Latex_Issues page.
