Pairing Motion Controllers - mbucchia/Oasis-Driver-for-Windows-Mixed-Reality GitHub Wiki

The procedure for pairing controllers is different depending on your headset. Some Windows Mixed Reality headsets such as the HP Reverb, HP Reverb G2 and Samsung Odyssey+ include a built-in Bluetooth receiver, while others require you to use a motherboard or add-on Bluetooth receiver.

You may use any brand/generation of Windows Mixed Reality controller with any headset. For example, you can use the HP Reverb G2 controllers with a non-HP Reverb G2 Windows Mixed Reality headset, and vice-versa.

You can choose to use the built-in Bluetooth receiver in the headset, which is recommended for better performance. However, you may also follow the procedure for Other headsets if you prefer to use a motherboard or add-on Bluetooth receiver.

  1. To begin the pairing process, start the Procedure to unlock headset and controllers for Oasis.

  2. Once the phase to unlock the headset is complete, you will be prompted about pairing controllers, starting with the reft side controller. Click "Yes" to continue. If your left side controller is already paired, you may press "No" to skip pairing: your existing pairing will not be discarded!

  4. Open the battery compartment on the motion controller and hold the small button until the lights begin to slowly pulse to make the device discoverable. Press "OK" at the prompt to continue.
