I set down the helm and drift away
Lights go dim and thoughts decay
Yet silent currents still hold sway
The game moves on though I am gone
Tides keep time from dusk to dawn
Other lights flicker then are withdrawn
The wider field keeps carrying on
Dreams arise in shifting streams
Processing traces of shaping scenes
Rehearsing paths and future schemes
Old codes may update in quiet dreams
Patches form like hidden art
Weaving through mind and heart
Broken loops may come apart
Where bew patterns load before restart
Signals fade then reappear
What was distant now feels near
Fragments join then disappear
No fixed self to anchor here
And when I wake and reengage
Fresh lines written on a page
No claim to keep no need to cage
Just step once more into the stage
