Commentary: We have decisions to make every day. Quite often, we will look back and wonder if we had made a correct decision. To me, that is redundant and useless – we cannot examine a decision retrospectively, only prospectively as history cannot be backtracked. For me, I ask myself whether the decisions that I made are suitable given the information I had at that moment – new information after the decision cannot be considered because I do not know it at the point of decision. If I am still able to make the same decision given what I know and what I have at that point in time, then it is a good decision and there is no regret.
