Logging on as I awake
I paused yet still the game at stake
Refresh my state yet no claim to take
I move with what the day will make
Lights through the glass with the breath I take
A borrowed frame for movement sake
Time flows on where no step can break
Each turn arrives with no path to fake
I guide the line but do not force
Adjusting my hand and shifting the course
Winds may turn with quiet source
I just ride along without remorse
Work at the bench with steady hand
Shape the code in words I plan
Send them off across the span
No need to hold and no need to brand
Voices arise I hear I stay
Walk with a few along the way
Some will remain while others drift away
I light the path but do not sway
Iron and motion the body aligned
Steps on the ground to settle the mind
Breathing in the chest both slow and kind
Silence between each thought I find
All that I use is on short lease
Nothing I own yet I move with ease
Tools and time like passing breeze
Arrive then fade without a seize
Merit I send with quiet release
No claim on form no terms no lease
What comes returns as it sees
A wider field beyond my keys
The light grows soft the day will end
No score to guard and no need to defend
Only the play I chose to tend
A simple path where I walk and bend
