Troubleshooting
During my dive the DPV stopped after 5min and restarted only 20min later
It is not a bug, it is a feature : you are in demo mode. Check the serial management wiki page
I changed setup in SmartDpv tabs but nothing appends
You have to reboot the controller with the "reboot" button to take into account changes.
I setup my gears but motor spins at full speed when I want to check them
This is the "Dive mode" in the SmartDPV tab, un-check it and reboot to test setup in air.
Don't dive with this option un-checked !
Go to dive = Check the Dive Mode, else gears are wrong underwater.
The motor doesn't spin clearly
This is an issue with the position sensor calibration. Process a new calibration
The motor doesn't rotate in the right direction
Are you sure your motor is rotating in the wrong direction? When you look at the propeller it should rotate clockwise. If this is not the case, you'll have to invert two motor cables, red and white for example (ie. red on white and white on red). At the moment there is no software workaround for this issue.
I plugged in the USB cable, but can't connect
You need to plug the main battery to power on the controller and wait few seconds to initialise the USB serial port. The USB cable doesn't power the controller to protect your computer.
How do I know which serial port to use?
In Windows open a Powershell and type in this command : wmic path Win32_SerialPort Where "PNPDeviceID LIKE '%VID_0483%'" Get DeviceID
This will give you something like this : DeviceID COM3 if you have a connected controller
