on newer nvidia drivers, we are getting significant aliasing even when running in 8x.

frankie April 28, 2011, at 11:32 AM: I'm still investigating this. This version of the README has some interesting notes about the "Appcontrolled" stuff. May need to detect if we have an nvidia card and then run the nvidia-settings command as they suggest.
