Description:

The SYNC_TO_VBLANK feature of the NVIDIA driver sometimes drops too many frames in the effort to keep the sync, which leads me to believe that the cost may outweigh the benefits of a non-tearing visual.

This is a request to default the option to off to give customers the best framerate possible. If tearing is too much of an issue, then the customer can override the feature back on in their $USERDATA/user_env.csh file

frankie January 19, 2010, at 10:20 AM: You can change this in your config via your user_env.csh file or via a custom run script that sets the appropriate environment variables. Look at our run scripts for examples.
