First Unconference - lloyddavis/ckop GitHub Wiki
โWhat is the Future of Professional Knowledge and Learning?โ
This free unconference organised by CKOP took place on 13th June in London and was open to anyone interested in the future of professional work. The purpose of the unconference was to facilitate discussions that might lead to new working relationships and projects in this area.
Our invitation asked:
-
How will we, as professionals, organise our work and learning in the future?
-
What is the role of expert knowledge in professional work?
-
How are technological and social innovations transforming professional work?
-
How is professional work being shaped by uncertainty, precarity and change?
Agenda
At an unconference the agenda is created collaboratively by the group. The notes here are created in the same spirit, no single person has created this record. If you attended, we warmly welcome your contributions, writing or editing the notes. If you're unfamiliar with using a wiki we've made a page to help you . Anyone can read these pages, but you will need to sign up for a github.com account to be able to contribute or change anything. If you've got an account but are having problems contributing have a look at the help page first.
The links below represent sessions that were called at the beginning of the day. If the link is red that means that nobody has yet added any notes for that session. If you click on a red link you will create a new page and you can add your notes. Please say in your notes whether you're adding something as the person who called the session, someone who attended or someone who didn't attend but has something to say about the subject or further questions to ask.
In the fluid nature of the day, it's possible that the session didn't happen or that it was merged with another. Please do not delete any session titles. These came out as the important things that we wanted to talk about. They don't stop being important just because we didn't have time to cover them on the day. If you called a session but it didn't happen, you might like to write a short paragraph about what you were thinking and why you thought it was important - the conversation might happen here even if it didn't happen in the room.
