Overview

Story

One of the Nymphs is kidnapped by people. We go to the rescue. We travel through swamp, fishing village and finally a dungeon. Each zone is harder than the last, with more armed guards and less vegetation and bodies of water that would work to our advantage.

Levels

Levels are rather small, but get progressively bigger. There's no savegames during level ‒ so they should be short, about 1-2 mins a level, up to 5 mins.

Story structure

TBD scope for the second showcase ‒ are we doing more than one level or act?

Prologue

We're in the forest, collecting fern flowers for our girl. This serves as a tutorial ‒ collecting each requires using basic mechanics, like walking, grabbing things out of reach with hair, or throwing objects.

Act I - Swamp

We're crossing the marshy forest at night, full of peasants with torches and forks, hunting for us. No man-made structures ‒ just foliage and swamps, that we can use to our advantage.

Enemies: mainly peasants with torches and forks.

Act II - Fishermen Village

We're looking for our girl in a village by the lake. There's a reasonable amount of water and foliage that works to our advantage, but there are also more armed guards and other people who can spot us. We can explore rooms and houses. A significant portion of the levels is man-made, from wood. Many wooden structures are breakable.

Enemies: mainly peasants, some armed guards.

Act III - Dungeon/prison tower/castle

Most of the level is man-made, built of stone. Rigid structures. Very little foliage or water.

Enemies: heavily armed guards.

Epilogue

TBD, but I'd say all ends well.
