📚 Translation Commands

The /translate command can be used to translate text to/from other languages.

Translating a Message in Discord

You can request a translation of a message in Discord through the context menu (right-click menu) within Discord.

Right-click on the message -> Apps -> Translate Message

This will request a translation of that message, including embedded link previews, into into the guild's default target language.

Simple translation to your 'default' language with /translate (most common)

/translate can be ran without any language specified if you just want to translate all messages to your 'default' target language.

Outputs:

This language can be changed using the setlang command as mentioned below.

Set the 'default' target language with /setlang

The /setlang command will change the default translation target language. By default, this is en (English).

Specifying the 'target' language for some text (common)

Specifying the to option will translate your text into a specific language within that one command only.

Outputs:

Specifying the 'source' language for some text (uncommon)

If the detected language is wrong you can specify the 'source' language manually with the from option.
