Setting up autocalibration - josalggui/MaRGE GitHub Wiki
Step-by-Step Tutorial for Configuring Autocalibration
The Autocalibration
feature is essential for the GUI, running a series of five sequences to provide necessary calibration information. These sequences include:
Larmor
Autotuning
Noise
Rabi flops
Shimming
To ensure the proper functionality of the Autocalibration
button , follow these configuration steps for each sequence:
Step 1: Select Sequence
- Navigate to the
Custom
tab on the main window. - From the sequence list, select one of the five sequences:
Larmor
,Autotuning
,Noise
,Rabi flops
, orShimming
.
Step 2: Configure Parameters
- Set the desired input parameters for the selected sequence to match your system's requirements.
Step 3: Save Configuration
- In the Sequence toolbar, click the
Save for Calibration
button to save the configuration. - This action creates a .csv file in the
calibration
folder for the selected sequence.
Repeat these steps for each of the five sequences. Once completed, you should have five .csv files in the calibration
folder, enabling the proper execution of Autocalibration
.
Important Notes:
- If these parameters are not configured, the GUI will use the last-used parameters for each calibration sequence, stored in the
experiments\parameterization
folder. - If the
experiments\parameterization
folder is empty (e.g., for first-time users), the GUI will default to parameters defined in the API. - It is strongly recommended to configure the autocalibration sequences manually to avoid relying on default parameters.
By following these steps, you ensure that Autocalibration
is accurately tailored to your system's needs, leading to more precise and reliable calibration results.
