Setting up autocalibration - josalggui/MaRGE GitHub Wiki
Step-by-Step Tutorial for Configuring Autocalibration
The Autocalibration feature is essential for the GUI, running a sequence of five calibration routines:
LarmorAutotuningNoiseRabi flopsShimming
To enable the proper functioning of the Autocalibration button , follow the configuration steps below for each sequence.
Step 1: Select the Sequence
- Go to the Custom tab in the main window.
- From the sequence list, select one of the following:
Larmor,Autotuning,Noise,Rabi flops, orShimming.
Step 2: Configure Parameters
- Set the parameters required for the selected sequence according to your hardware and system setup.
Step 3: Save the Configuration
- In the Sequence toolbar, click Save for Calibration to store the configuration. A
.csvfile will be created in thecalibrationfolder for the selected sequence.
Repeat Steps 1–3 for all five sequences.
When finished, the calibration folder should contain five .csv files, one for each calibration routine.
Important Notes
- If no calibration parameters are defined, the GUI will use the most recently used parameters stored in the
experiments\parameterizationfolder. - If this folder is empty (e.g., on first use), the GUI will fall back to default API-defined parameters.
- It is highly recommended to manually configure all autocalibration sequences to avoid relying on defaults.
By completing these steps, you ensure that Autocalibration is correctly tailored to your system, resulting in more accurate and reliable calibration performance.
