Counters

The counters feature provides a simple functionality for counting your animal harvests. It is for players who like to grind for the trophies and care more about the number of them rather than the trophy itself. For a more sophisticated way of logging your harvests, use the catch book feature. More information about the catch book is here.

How it works

The counters have two parts, a group of counters and the counters themselves. To create a counter, you will need to create a group first. Within the group, you can then create the counters. There can be any number of groups as well as any number of counters within a group.

Bottom bar

This button works the same way as the one in the catch book feature. More information about the file button is here.

Group

Create group

You can create a group by tapping the + button on the bottom bar. The app will show you a screen with a form. In this form, you can choose the name of the group. To add the group to the counters, you need to tap the add button at the bottom of the form.

Edit group

You can edit a created group by swiping it to the right. A form like the one for creating will appear. But instead of choosing everything, the group's properties will be shown. You can edit them the same way you select them when creating the group.

Delete group

You can delete a created group by swiping it to the left. When deleting a group, a snack bar appears to inform you about the deletion. For a brief moment, you can restore the group by tapping the restore button on the snack bar.

Counter

Create counter

To create a counter, you will need to open a created group. More on how to create the group is here. You can then create a counter by tapping the + button on the bottom bar. The app will show you a screen with a form. In this form, you can choose the name of the counter and the initial value. To add the counter to the group, you need to tap the add button at the bottom of the form.

Edit counter

You can edit a created counter the same way as the group. More information about this is here.

Delete counter

You can delete a created counter the same way as the group. More information about this is here.

Change the value

You can change the value of the counter in two ways - up and down. You can increase the value by tapping the counter, and decrease the value by double-tapping the counter.

Reorderable

Both lists are reorderable. It means that you can change the order of the groups or counters. You can reorder entries by long-tapping and moving the entry to the position you want the entry to be at.
