Triggering a Tile Via Door

By going to the Triggers tab of a door's configuration window, you can set up that door to trigger tiles when its interacted with.

You can set up auto-landings to have different sets of actions for each different door trigger.

Select Entity

Clicking this button will swap you to the tile layer; from here, click the tile you wish to have triggered on the selected door changes.

Enter the name of a Tag as the target; it works with Tagger's Wildcard system for prefabs.

Use Tiles Under Door

Any tiles touching the door with the Door Trigger trigger method will be triggered. This will include a tile next to it when using things exactly on the grid, so adjust accordingly.

Door Changes

Check the various boxes to control when the door triggers the tile.

On Open Door

The tile will trigger whenever the door is opened.

On Close Door

The tile will trigger whenever the door is closed.

On Lock Door

The tile will trigger whenever the door is locked.

On Check Lock

The tile will trigger whenever an attempt is made to open the door while locked.

On Secret Door

Whenever the door is changed to or from the "Secret" state, the tile will trigger.

If you have Monk's Wall Enhancement installed, you can use Ctrl + right-click on a closed door to toggle a door between secret and not secret if you have that option enabled.

Notes

  • The core setting Left-Click to Release Objects may interfere with these triggers.
  • The MATT setting Allow Door Click-Through may interfere with these triggers. As this setting was originally added as a placeholder until proper door triggers could be added, this setting can usually be left disabled.
