Sometimes GPU rendering can cause crashes on iOS devices. In that case, you can switch Game GPU Acceleration off in settings.
CPU Rendering Speeds
GnollHack works pretty well with CPU rendering as well. We have tested CPU rendering on the following devices:
iPhones
iPhone 11
- Processor: A13 Bionic
- RAM: 4 GB
- Display resolution: 828x1792 pixels
- FPS: 60 in the zoomed out mode (perfect result)
iPhone SE 2020
- Processor: A13 Bionic
- RAM: 3 GB
- Display resolution: 750 x 1334
- FPS: 60 in the zoomed out mode (perfect result)
iPhone 12 Pro Max
- Processor: A14 Bionic
- RAM: 6 GB
- Display resolution: 1284 x 2778
- FPS: 60 in the zoomed out mode (perfect result)
iPads
iPad 8th generation
- Processor: A12 Bionic
- RAM: 3 GB RAM
- Display resolution: 1620 x 2160
- FPS: 37 in the zoomed out mode, 52 in the zoomed in mode (well-playable)
iPad 9th generation
- Processor: A13 Bionic
- RAM: 3 GB RAM
- Display resolution: 1620 x 2160
- FPS: 48 in the zoomed out mode, 60 in the zoomed in mode (almost perfect)
iPad Air 5th generation
- Processor: M1
- RAM: 8 GB RAM
- Display resolution: 1640 x 2360
- FPS: 60 in the zoomed out mode (perfect result)
iPad Pro 12.9" 2021
- Processor: M1
- RAM: 8/16 GB RAM
- Display resolution: 2048 x 2732 @ 120 Hz
- FPS: 63 in the zoomed out mode, 75* in the zoomed in mode (excellent)
*) Skia FPS seems to be capped at 75 Hz.
