This page is just notes to myself on how to quickly play a Google doodle game that I enjoyed.

The doddle is actually two sets of games. One set is obvious - a bunch of sports that you compete in. Like the running race where you have to avoid obstacles, or the rock climbing wall where you have to get to the top within a time limit.
But there's another game set that I bet lots of people never fully understood. I'll call this parallel set of games the "do good deeds" games. Various NPCs in the game will talk to you and state a problem they are having. Frequently they have lost some treasured object, but it can be other things too, like passing a message or helping them in some other way. (In one case, you have to talk a character into being good.) Less obvious is that there is a specific set of these needy NPCs, and as you successfully help them, you earn trophies in a trophy house.
To get the big huge celebratory grand prize, you have to complete both sets of games. I like that. It's not enough for you to be a great athlete, you have to be a good person too.
Humans seem to have an evolutionary proclivity for conflict and competition. Many (most?) games are an outlet for those urges. Somehow I grew up a sissy, thinking that peaceful cooperation was how the world *should* go 'round. I remember a Peanuts cartoon with Linus working with paper and crayons. He looks thoughtful and then asks, "what color is a peace conference?"
Now I've grown old and cynical, but it still warms my heart to see that "good deeds" game set.
